The room was unpleasant, with a bad smell and paint coming off the walls. I took photos, and when we asked to move, they said that wasn’t an option. We checked out very early because we couldn’t stand it. This fell far below what I expect from Agoda and reddoorz. I’d paid for early check-in, but on arrival they said we couldn’t get in until 2 p.m. They eventually let us check in after I kept complaining and showed them the booking confirming early check-in.

Room and ambiance were both a no for me. The location was so-so, and nobody told us they were changing the wifi password. The room smelled awful, the walls looked like a warehouse, the furniture was dusty, and the refrigerator was terrible. The bed was too small for a couple, and the sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed in a long time. There were mosquitoes and ants too.

The bed for two was only 110 cm wide, and the bathroom was full of cockroaches. They had no toilet paper, and when I asked for some, they told me to buy it myself. Is zero stars an option? This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve traveled a lot.

The room was spacious, with AC and a heated shower, and the man at reception was pretty nice. Wifi worked only outside the rooms, but the lobby signal was strong. It’s fairly close to the airport. We had to pay for paper plates for our takeout, and there was no free water, but I’d still recommend it.

Ants were all over the room, and the bathroom tiles were literally floating in some liquid that gave off a powerful smell like dirty wastewater. The receptionist was busy on her phone and looked visibly annoyed whenever anyone came over. It’s cheap, but staff shouldn’t make customers feel like a nuisance. Another scam from Agoda and/or the hotel owners: the supposedly free bottled water costs 25 pesos for a small bottle.
