Lazi Beach Club

Waking up in a beach cottage to the sound of the ocean at sunrise was priceless. The rooms are simple and clean, with mosquito nets on every window, though there are no blackout curtains. The staff were very friendly and helped with transport and last-minute changes. The hotel is a 30-40 minute drive from San Juan, which has a fantastic, relaxing bay.

The pool was a great place to unwind after exploring, especially since there were quite a lot of seaweeds along the beachfront and we chose to use the pool instead. We were a group of eight, seven adult friends and one kid, and the service impressed us from the moment we arrived. The staff were cheerful and accommodating, with a special mention to Sir Ariel. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and well cared for, and the comfort rooms were spotless too. Free kayaks and life jackets were a thoughtful extra, and they also offer laundry services. The food and drinks were tasty and affordable, and the rates felt reasonable for the quality of service. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely come back to here on our next visit to Siquijor. Highly recommended for groups or families looking for an affordable, relaxing getaway! 🌊💙

My room is just 15 metres from the water, right on the beach. There’s no air conditioning, only fans, but the sea breeze keeps things comfortable. They have a generator for Siquijour's frequent brown outs, along with hot showers, a fridge, and coffee making in the rooms. Such a beautiful resort, highly recommended.

The best part was how close this resort is to a local dive shop, and the ocean view made breakfast especially nice. We loved the fresh mangoes and pancakes, and the pizza was amazing too. We arrived at Siquijor pier, rented a motorcycle, and drove about 35-40 minutes to Lazi Beach Club. The staff were friendly and let us stay an extra night so we could keep diving and exploring the island. Our room had a king bed, two portable fans, basic toiletries, and a fridge for cold drinks. There was no AC, but the ocean breeze kept it cool enough overnight. I hadn’t expected the toilet and bed to be separated only by a curtain and a small wall. It wasn’t a big deal, just brought my partner and me closer together. The shower pressure was low, but that wasn’t an issue for us. We also bonded with a sweet stray dog named Rolo, I think the dive shop gave him that name. We wished we could take him back to Canada and spoil him, and having dogs around made the stay even better. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing holiday by the water.
