Worst experience I've ever had in the Philippines, hands down. I booked and paid through Agoda, but apparently a confirmation number sent by text wasn't enough. The caretaker Rose was snobbish to my fiance on the phone. Even the woman who runs the store across the street said the caretaker has a very snobbish attitude. If you're a foreigner, avoid this place at ALL COSTS.

The caretaker, ate rose, was friendly and accommodating. The room and bedding were clean, and it had a working fridge, kitchen utensils, TV, electric fan, and electric stove. Free WiFi was a plus. Still, the overall stay was average given the issues. The listing's free parking claim is misleading. There's only side parking, not a proper lot, and it's open to anyone, so someone else could park there while you're out. There isn't a guarantee of getting a spot, especially if other guests bring cars or motorcycles. The host should make this clear so guests know what to expect. In room 10, the door knob strike plate is broken. A hard push could wreck it completely, and it should be repaired for safety. This could suit groups or solo guests looking for budget lodging who plan to spend most of their time out rather than in the room.

We booked for about two weeks and lost electricity for two days because of electrical problems in the rooms. Getting someone to fix it was a hassle, and there was barely any water from the shower. The caretaker was kind at first, but when we asked for fresh towels and bedsheets she rolled her eyes and spoke very rudely. She complained a lot, I believe more than the guests did. The last time we requested a clean sheet, she clearly gave us a dirty one. I hope the owner sees this. The caretaker has an attitude and needs to learn to treat guests with respect. We had been thinking of staying for a month or two, but if we can't ask for fresh bedsheets during a long stay, we'd rather book somewhere else than deal with that behavior.

The room was spacious and very clean, with a bed, closet, private bathroom, dining table, and a kitchen equipped with a working boiler, stove, and fridge. It works for a solo stay or with family or friends. Great place and service, and I had a great experience. I'll definitely check in again next time I'm in Legazpi.
