The Pelicans Resort

The male helper was really helpful, and the pool was clean with plenty of room around it. The property is spacious, but the amenities and facilities feel old. The shower rooms have nowhere to set toiletries, and the pail and tabo were dirty. There are no cabinets for clothes and no TVs in the rooms. The mirror is mounted too high. One toilet had a broken doorknob and the flush didn't work very well. The kitchen is very old and missing some equipment, including a microwave. There was one large fan, but it was rusty and dirty, so we didn't use it. It's one block from the beach, but the nearby stretch wasn't pleasant for swimming. You have to walk farther to reach a good beach area.

We stayed there during Holy Week, and the beach was far from the resort, so don't be misled. The karaoke could have been turned down at night, but the owners didn't seem to care since they had rented it out too. The CRs were completely gross, and there wasn't a single cabinet, not even a small one. Definitely won't be coming back.

The staff were so polite and helpful, even offering assistance with things like grilling. It’s a short two-minute walk to the beach, and there’s videoke you can rent. We liked having the privacy and space to unwind with friends or family. The kitchen and grill are free to use, with an extra 100 for gas, so you can put together your own party.

The kids had a great time in the pool, and the beach is only a 2-3 minute walk away. Kuya Jason was very accommodating and made sure we had what we needed. The room worked for a barkada, but didn’t feel suited to a family. There’s no comfort room by the pool, only in the room. We expected somewhere more relaxing, though the owner’s dogs were noisy, and the parking area wasn’t properly arranged.
