The Tavern Hotel

The resort is very clean, with pool water that felt just right, and the lobby has a welcoming, refreshing atmosphere. The staff were great and accommodating. We got the package with free breakfast, and it was delicious. At night, there are restaurants, a 7 Eleven, a cafe, and even a barber shop across the complex, and the big malls of San Fernando, Pampanga are nearby too. If you're looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing to unwind, this is worth trying. I'd recommend the resort.

I also appreciated the privacy, which made it possible to relax without disturbances, and the relaxing view. The pool was warm and pleasant, and our room was clean. The staff were kind and courteous, but they couldn't resolve our hot water problem. Smoke from the nearby smoking area also drifted over while we were bathing in the pool. Some appliances, including the refrigerator and air conditioner, seemed old.

This was our second visit, and a few days after swimming, all of us developed pimple-like skin problems on our faces, especially around the scalp. My five-year-old had a large one on the nose, and my eight-year-old had one inside the ear. The pool seemed dirty. I can't say for sure what caused it, but parasites or germs in the water may have been responsible. Be careful with the pools this summer.
