The room was spacious and fairly clean, though quite a lot of it was worn out. The bed sheet looked old, there were many stains in the shower area, and the drain wasn’t working very well. At least there was no bad smell. The TV remote also didn’t work properly, and we didn’t get a coffee refill for our second night. Most concerning, the room wouldn’t lock. Thankfully nothing was stolen, though we hadn’t left valuables behind. The toilet itself was clean, towels were supplied, and breakfast was included. There was a bidet and hot shower, plus a large bed with plenty of pillows. The air-conditioning worked well. The views were nice and the food was okay.

The view and service were great, and it was a nice spot beside the water. There was no entrance fee just to get to the restaurants in the area, which was a bonus. I’ve spent the last two years trying baked scallops wherever I could find them on a Cebu menu. This place has the best I’ve had so far, really plump, flavorful, and filling.

The food was amazing, and I had a good time here with lots to do and enjoy. Two of the things I wanted to try were shut down, though.

There are plenty of outdoor activities for both kids and adults, and the saltwater pool is a nice place to cool off and relax. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the overnight rates are moderate, especially through Agoda. For somewhere so close to the city, I think the price is reasonable. The restaurants serve different kinds of food, though they’re a bit pricey. It’s a lovely place to get a quick break from city life, with great views and a chance to be closer to nature. It’s not too far from Cebu’s three major cities, so you avoid the long trip to the northern towns. Our room did need maintenance: the drain and showerhead were clogged, and we had to call housekeeping repeatedly for help. Still, it’s a sensible choice for a short getaway.

We stopped at the cafe beside the inlet to the bay for a plate of fried Calamari and some drinks. The view was lovely and the weather was pleasant. We visited Papa Kit’s on Jan. 28, 2025, and the place was empty. We considered trying the zip line, but with nobody else around it didn’t seem like much fun. The facilities looked old and poorly maintained, so I won’t be coming back.
