Buceo Anilao Beach and Dive Resort

We had a great time diving, with plenty of interesting critters to see. Everything around the dives was easy too: booking, transport, and renting gear were all handled smoothly. Everyone at Buceo was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. I also appreciated their cleanup and recycling efforts. I'll definitely be back.

Joy was one of the best dive guides we've had. We told him we wanted to photograph macro life, and he searched carefully for the hard-to-spot critters while coordinating smoothly underwater with the other instructors so we could see everything. The reef looked healthy and conditions were very good; the underwater life was world class, as my photos show. The rest of the stay was just as good, from the airport transfer through our last breakfast. Buceo is beautiful, with plenty of places to relax between dives and a restaurant serving delicious food at reasonable prices. We especially liked the local dishes, including pork ribs, BBQ skewers, soups, and vegetables. Our room had large comfortable beds, a hot-water shower, cold air-conditioning, and an incredible sea-view balcony. For good value and world-class macro diving, Buceo is the one.

We felt at home at Buceo, moving between diving, meals, and time by the pool before heading back out for more dives. The pool setup and view are amazing. Staff were great, from the DM's to the restaurant team. We'd happily come back.

The setup makes it easy to fit in four dives a day, and everyone is so friendly. The food and staff are great, and the diving is superb if you're into macro photography. Give it a few days and you might be into it too :)
