Ken and the reception staff were especially helpful, and breakfast was good. The ribs are worth ordering too. We liked having lots of relaxing shared spaces and steady Wi-Fi. Our room fit seven comfortably, with a queen, a single, and two bunk beds. The AC had been cooled before we arrived, the towels smelled fresh, and there was a water carafe. A few things stood out less: the room faces the main road, so motorcycles made it noisy, and I wished there were a window for natural light. We also saw trash and pet waste left by other guests in common areas. Service slowed after a large event that night, though that was understandable.

We paid 500 per head for a day visit during Holy Week, with the resort amenities included. The place itself was decent, and we’d planned to return as customers and maybe dive there soon. That’s unlikely now. We came for fresh air, but some guests smoked in their cabana despite a designated smoking area and played loud music through speakers. The tracks seemed to be interrupted by ads, as if they were using TikTok without premium. I raised it with staff so they could handle it, but nothing was done and the guests showed no remorse. We had hoped for a calm, pleasant day.

The grounds outside the rooms feel peaceful and beautiful, and the rooms themselves are clean with nice decor. Some doors and fixtures look broken and could use maintenance. The AC doesn’t feel very effective because of where the unit is positioned. Wi-Fi can be slow, so if you’re planning remote work, bring your own Wi-Fi kit as a backup.

It gets noisy at times. There’s no hair dryer, and the towels are old and discoloured.
