The staff were helpful and very nice, the pool was clean, and our clean room was restocked daily with toiletries and bottled water. The restaurant food was really good, though drinks were a bit pricey. I would definitely return with friends, and hope the resort is booked and any renovations are completed by then, with the pool bar open. There are some practical things to know. The Google Map location needs updating; it sent us to the wrong place, though we luckily found other people who were also looking for the resort. The photos were a bit misleading about the amenities. They show a private beach, but getting there requires an extra ferry fee, whether private or public. The other pool was closed, and we don't know what happened to that side of the resort. The catalogue lists other accommodation options that aren't on the actual booking site. The resort may be a little outdated, but it needs an accurate description of the facilities so guests don't arrive disappointed.

The staff were amazing, helpful, welcoming, and easy to approach. Rooms are old but kept up well, with comfortable beds, a huge bathroom, and a great veranda view. The seawater pool was well maintained and a fun experience for the kids, and there's food service poolside. The beachfront is good for snorkeling, with lots of coral and fish, and you can rent gear at the resort. The restaurant is hit or miss. I didn't like the pizza and thought it was a waste of money, but the Filipino food was delicious, so I'd stick to that. Take care getting there because Google Maps can lead you astray. Pass Alfamart and turn right. The road isn't shown on the map and the parking area can't be pinned. Look for the big Eagle Point signboard and follow the signs. If there's no sign, that's not the place. There's a free shuttle from the parking area to the resort.

The hotel has a good view and could be a nice vacation choice for family or friends, but our one-day stay at eagle point resort was a bad experience. First, Google Maps showed the wrong location and our vehicle got stuck. The resort is far inside from the main road, in an area that feels like a forest. At night, you can't go out easily to eat somewhere else. The food service was inconvenient too. They said it was buffet only, at 1,100 PHP per person, with no other items to order, and the restaurant closed at 9 pm. Guests come to relax, so it's a problem when the food doesn't suit your preference and you can't easily leave. They need to improve the food service and the location information on Google Maps.

The ocean view is good, and the spare ribs were superb. The food is pricey, but reasonable for what you get. Rooms are good, and the air conditioning wasn't weak or bad like another review said. It's very quiet, except when guests are doing team-building activities. The bathroom doesn't have an exhaust fan, though, and the place isn't PWD-friendly. For directions, don't turn right when the map tells you to after the "slow down" sign blocking the road. Keep going straight and watch for the sign on the right.

There's diving and snorkeling, and the resort has its own restaurant. It's a long way from the action, with limited parking and no nightlife. If you want to go downtown Mabini, be back by 4 pm, since the road to the resort is like a jungle and has no street lights.
