Bay View Inn

I didn’t stay here, just came by to see if it might work for the night. The staff member I spoke with was very helpful. It’s in a convenient spot if you’re taking the RORO to Dinagat Islands, close to the boulevard. The hotel is upstairs on the second floor of a building with a 7/11, and there’s a bakeshop next to it that says it’s open 24 hours.

It was decent and pretty good overall. The hot shower wasn’t working very well, but it was still a good stay.

Good value for the money, especially for one person or a couple. The rooms are clean and decent, the water pressure is strong, the air-conditioning works properly, and the internet is fast. It’s near the boulevard, with restaurants and cafes within walking distance, plus a 24/7 convenience store. The bathroom is tiny, barely enough room to move around, and there’s no TV. It’s close to the public market, which can make things crowded in the daytime. Rooms are on the third floor, with stairs only and no lift.

I booked a small room, but it looked and smelled clean. The AC and cable TV worked fine, the water pressure was strong, and there was free drinking water from a dispenser outside the rooms. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to. It’s a decent option for a short overnight while waiting for the first trip to Dinagat. The port is less than a 5 minute walk away. The place is right by the market, along the boulevard where there’s a night market, and there’s even a 7-11 in the same building. Dinagat Islands is a very underrated province for tourism.
