The staff were accommodating and gave us a refund when we asked to cancel, after we found a big roach with her baby crawling onto our suitcase. There are nearby places at about the same price that are 10 times nicer. Cockroaches were crawling everywhere when we arrived late, and the place looked nothing like the photos. We asked to switch rooms, but the second was just the same. Cabinets were coming off the wall, and the room and hallways were so dim they looked like a horror movie. It's part hotel, part apartments, with random people sitting in the halls smoking. The carpet reeked of urine and cigarettes. Most disgusting hotel I've ever seen.

At least the hot and cold shower worked. This apartment is in CBD Makati and could suit budget business travelers staying a week or two, as long as they don't expect much. It's a very old building. I found the lift scary to use because it didn't seem safe, and the corridors felt haunted. The place doesn't smell good either.

The location is a real plus for a short visit. It's in the Makati area, within walking distance of Greenbelt and Glorietta shopping area, and I like the neighborhood a lot. The rooms are a little dated, old style, but the hotel's location and price are worth it for a few days. For a longer stay, I might look elsewhere.

It's nicely situated in the heart of the city, with a pleasant ambience, a gym, and a small pool up top. The equipment is the one drawback, it's old and needs replacing. This is one of Makati's oldest buildings. I was there six years ago, so things may have changed since then.
