The location is great, and one day here seems fine, but I wouldn’t stay longer. The room was clean, though some rooms have no windows, so watch out for that. Daily cleaning seemed to mean straightening the bed, and the hotel had a strange feel to it. Pick somewhere else if you want the room properly cleaned and towels changed. The restaurant next door is the real highlight. It seems to be under new management, and both the food and service are amazing. Give it a try.

Many important things went missing from my room after the cleaning staff had been in. The hotel wouldn’t accept responsibility, even though its employees wouldn’t let me negotiate directly with the employee who was supposedly responsible. It cost me a lot of money. I can’t recommend this place, and I’d be careful about staying here.

The room was small but quiet, even though it’s in the middle of the red light district. You’re paying for the location. There was no hot water, and they didn’t provide a personal hygiene kit.

I like that the rooms are supposed to be non-smoking since I don’t smoke, but mine smelled of cigarettes. At 1 am, I called my wife for five minutes to ask her to kiss the children for me and tell them I missed them. Half an hour later, staff woke me with a call saying I was disturbing the neighbors. Apparently, you can’t talk on the phone at night.

There are plenty of places nearby for an early breakfast or a late-night snack. The hotel is right in the middle of the Makati CBD, and it’s a nice boutique spot with lots of art, from sculptures and paintings to installations.
