Hotel Sogo Guadalupe

I was extremely upset and disappointed by how I was treated in the lobby. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and didn’t give me proper assistance. That’s unacceptable for a place that claims to offer quality service, and no guest should be treated with that kind of disrespect. I expect the matter to be taken seriously and addressed immediately. I’m waiting for a prompt reply explaining what action you’ll take.

Rose, Joy, Analyn, and Angelo were all so helpful. Rose, Joy, and Analyn were lovely, attentive, and quick, and made everyone feel welcome. Angelo was very helpful too. As a tourist, it means a lot to feel special, and now you know why I keep coming back.

I found everything I needed on the first day, including a haircut and shave, manicure, food, a nearby mall, phone repair, second-hand and new clothes, shoes, tools, and entry mats. The location is great, much better than I expected. Staff were also great. They were always busy, but still helped everyone quickly and efficiently and made sure people were happy. My room had a smell that anyone familiar with cockroaches would recognize. I killed maybe 10 during my five days there. The place was swept and mopped regularly, so I’d still call it clean, but there were lots of spots where the bugs could hide. After the first one, I checked carefully whenever I opened the door and turned on the lights. There were renovations going on when I visited in early 2026, so it may be nicer now. My main issues were the roaches and the plastic beds and pillows, which felt like those in a sex hotel.

The first room we were given, room 802, had several problems. The door didn’t work properly, the bathroom floor didn’t drain shower water, and the table light was out. Luckily, the staff moved us to a fifth-floor room right away after I called. That room was perfect, with no problems at all. The staff were very kind. I love it and will visit this Sogo branch again. Whenever I travel, I always want SOGO HOTELS because they’re so clean and good. :))
