It felt like a little getaway to the city that never sleeps. MyTown New York has a fun, stylish NYC feel, and it's great for taking quick photos.

The rooftop was peaceful, and I loved the shower. My unit had cold air conditioning, and with the lights off it was completely dark and quiet, which made it easy to focus on my work as a full-time DJ and artist. The workspace suited me well, the internet was strong despite occasional slowdowns, and the microwave and small fridge were handy for heating takeaways. The building was clean, thanks to the housekeeping staff, and getting to the stairs was easy. My first room on the third floor had clutter, shoes and clothes around, cleanliness problems, and cleaning supplies in the bathroom. I don't remember its number, and my roommate wasn't very considerate. Ms. Mary and Ms. Fren listened to my concerns and quickly moved me to a cleaner unit, Room 427. They were helpful and accommodating when I ran into trouble during move-in, and Ms. Fren was especially professional, responsive, and courteous throughout. I had such a good stay at MyTown New York that I added another week to my booking. I'd recommend it as an affordable, reliable place, and I'm looking forward to returning next year with a new contract 😊.

I could sleep properly once they moved me to a room facing an inner courtyard. The street-facing rooms are noisy, with windows that don't block the sound. First they put me by the main street; after I asked to switch, the next room faced a secondary street and I could still hear dogs and roosters. It took a third try for them to understand I wanted a room away from the street. The rooms are clean and have private bathrooms. Towels and toilet paper are included, but toiletries aren't. The hotel is very close to Bonifacio Global City, which you can walk to, and 4 km from Ayala. There isn't much nearby food for foreigners, mostly Filipino street food and a few bakeries. Lawson downstairs sells prepared food you can warm there. The pool is a decent size and the fitness gym is available to guests. They don't offer filtered water, and there's nowhere to get hot water.

I wouldn't recommend this place. Customer service was poor, and information was lacking. There isn't a telephone, so you have to contact them on your personal mobile. Hygiene was also improper. The parking area needs clearer notices, especially about where parking isn't allowed. I parked in the wrong area and got no warning. They quickly asked me to pay a penalty and clamped my vehicle. Even as a guest, I wasn't given an exemption or warning. It wasn't worth it.
