The Mini Suites - Eton Tower Makati

Right in the heart of makati CBD, the hotel has a good location, and the room price more or less fits the quality. The rooms are small, really just for sleeping, and there's no table or chairs for doing a little work. I think the walls are concrete plywood. We could hear people in the next room, even talking, so there isn't much privacy. It depends on whether your neighbors are quiet. The bathroom sits in the middle of the room like an aquarium.

The pool was a highlight, large, well kept, and really enjoyable. Staff seemed genuinely welcoming, the room was clean, and shops and restaurants were close by. We booked a mini double for the two of us, but it felt cramped. There wasn't enough room to move around comfortably, and for the price I expected a bit more. The shower had no proper shelf or stand for toiletries, there was nowhere to eat, and no cabinets or clothes storage, which made it hard to keep things organized. I'd suggest this room for a night if you just need a place to sleep. For a longer stay as a couple, the small space and missing basics make showering, eating, and getting around difficult.

The bed was super comfortable, and it was really quiet at night. We liked using the gym and pool too. The room was just the right size for two, and the price felt like a great deal for what we got.

The neighboring guests talked loudly until after midnight, which made it hard to rest. It seemed they weren't thinking about the other guests, and I wish the hotel would remind everyone to be considerate and keep things peaceful. Aside from that, I had a great stay. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a spotless bathroom. The cleaning lady was friendly and did a great job replacing the used towels and changing the floor towel. The room was bigger and nicer than I expected, especially compared with my last stay. It even had an air purifier or diffuser that made it smell fresh and relaxing on the first day, but it was taken away the second day. The receptionist was very helpful. I arrived early in the morning after a red-eye flight, and she kindly let me check in at 11 AM instead of the usual 2 PM. The location is right in the heart of Makati, close to Hospital, Ayala, Glorietta, Greenbelt, Landmark, SM, and not too far from BGC. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops are nearby. I'd definitely stay again.
