Medano Resort

The pool is especially inviting at night, when its colors shift from green to blue, red, and orange. The rooms were nice, and I appreciated the complimentary basic toiletries. I do wish they’d clean and smooth out the beach so guests could swim more comfortably. The food presentation could use improvement too. Still, it’s definitely a place families should visit.

The food was good and inexpensive, though it often took too long to arrive. The black beach was nice, and the rooms were clean and good for the price. Staff could sometimes seem unmotivated, almost unfriendly compared with other places. They seemed offended that we rented scooters somewhere else.

The kids had a great time in the pool, and we got to enjoy the beach early in the morning before the wind picked up. The resort grounds were well kept, and the front desk staff were pleasant and very accommodating. We had the place to ourselves. The room was clean and spacious, with large double and queen beds. The pillows and blankets had just been washed, the AC worked well, and the bathroom had running water without any problems. Those things matter most to me in a hotel. Thanks for a wonderful stay, and to the owner for the favors. We’ll surely come back and recommend the resort to friends. 😊

The location made it easy to get to White Island, and the view was lovely. The beach was okay, though a bit rocky, and the pool was really nice. The resort itself has potential, but our stay was a very bad experience, and we wouldn’t return. We traveled halfway around the world to visit Camiguin and stayed at Dreamland Resort for 3 nights and 4 days. We paid for their most expensive room, but it definitely wasn’t worth the money. The room was okay, but the sheets looked old and dirty, and the bathroom hadn’t been updated. The manager or supervisor was very rude and had no manners in how she treated customers. The resort was often short on staff. We ordered a simple breakfast of eggs and ham, and it took almost 2 hours, even though we’d been told it would be ready in less than 30 minutes. When we paid 500 pesos, she was very upset because she didn’t have change. We asked for clean towels in the morning and didn’t get them until 4 pm, despite having to keep reminding them. Then they asked us to pay extra. When we asked for toothpaste or shampoo, we were rudely told to go to the store and buy our own shampoo. We also asked to have the sheets changed and were rudely refused. She said we had to pay extra for towels or sheets. The manager deleted my previous review and sent me a very rude, unprofessional message. The resort may be good, but the person managing it was very unprofessional and ruined our visit to Camiguin. I hope other people don’t have the same experience. Please consider staying at another resort.
