We found the area peaceful, away from the bar noise in Yumbing, and the staff were all accommodating. Nearby sari-sari stores and carinderias were handy. Even without renting a motorcycle or arranging a service, we could get around easily: poblacion was one motorela ride away, Yumbing and other sights were a short walk, White Island was within walking distance, and the sunken cemetery, church ruins, and old walkway were one ride away. Ardent Hot spring and JOP for Mt. Hibok-Hibok were 3km away for hiking. The location worked out really well, and we'll choose this place again on our next visit to Camiguin.

This feels like a family home with extra rooms built on a large property. The helpful woman at reception also handles housekeeping. My room was clean, but small for a superior twin, and the aircon was too weak to cool it, even at night. It got stuffy and hot during the day, so I ended up showering five times daily. The water was fresh, clean, and had good shower pressure, though there's no water heater and it wasn't too cold even at night. It's popular with Filipino guests who have motorcycles to reach eateries more than 2km away. There's a grocery at the main road corner, but the selection is very limited. I wouldn't recommend this place to foreigners.

The owner handled a pricing mismatch from our initial booking kindly and adjusted it as we requested. We had good service throughout our stay, and the place felt safe, with a gate, lots of CCTVs, and parking inside the property. It's quiet, surrounded by plants and trees, and the inn is part of the owners' home. The room was small but had the essentials, plus an outdoor porch with chairs and a table. The room and toilet were clean. There was no water heater, but TVs, aircon, and basic items were provided. The shared kitchen was spacious and clean, too. I think they have one staff member, who may also help around the house. It's a bit far from the city proper and Balbagon port, but my fiancée and I like adventures, so that was fine. Consider staying here on a future Camiguin trip if you want somewhere that feels secure.

The island itself felt magical, and we were comfortable enough during our two nights here. Still, the price seemed high for what we got. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, the toilet cistern didn't work properly, shower pressure was very low, and there was no hot water. Those problems made it difficult to properly relax. There may be better choices on the island, though this place could suit people with different priorities.
