I’ve stayed at Joyce Apartelle - Mandaluyong several times over the past few years. The staff, from reception to room service, are very good and always greet you with a smile. The rooms are spacious and clean, and I’d recommend booking one with a kitchen. Takeaway places, a supermarket, and a fresh market are within walking distance. SM Mall, Star Mall, and Shangri-La Plaza' are about a quick 15-minute cab or jeepney ride away. Room rates are more than reasonable compared with local motel prices. I recommend Joyce Apartelle for overnight, medium-term, or longer stays in Manila.
