OYO 1168 Gimaca Boutique Hotel & Cafe

A clean, quiet boutique hotel in a good location, recommended by a business colleague. The food was decent, but service at the cafe could be better, especially when we were seated at the bigger table.

We forgot to take a photo before or after eating because the food disappeared! The calamares were fresh and nicely crispy. We also had bangus sisig and tortang talong, both a little different from the usual versions and even better. Everything tasted authentic and masarap, so we ordered extra rice without shame. There are fresh smoothies and sweet desserts too. Highly recommend!

I stayed here for quite a few days and had a great time. The laundry pickup from your door is affordable at PHP23/Kilo. There’s a Grocery Store and a Food Hub, and they serve Halal Food, so I’d highly recommend it to Muslims looking for a place to stay. You couldn’t ask for much more.

The staff were great, the rooms were clean, and the food was good. The TV has internet access with Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon TV. I liked this little place, tucked away, though I don’t think the location is ideal since it isn’t near a train or bus stop. The shower has hot water and decent pressure, but the tankless heater took me a moment to figure out. It only has 5 fixed settings, so one can be too cold and the next too hot.
