The noise was awful, with thin walls letting in every car outside and every conversation from the next room. I counted at least 10 cockroaches in rooms 311 and 312. The bathroom smelled like a sewer, was stained, and had no working hot water. The bed was dirty, stained, and extremely itchy. Floors were sticky, with spider webs and dark spots all over. The whole place smelled like a garbage truck, and the TV was an ancient box showing only religious channels. If you’ve already booked, good luck, and bring your own lysol. If not, never book this hotel.
The surrounding area was full of street trash and wasn’t a pleasant place to stay. The room floors were basically cement, and I saw cockroaches. There were no toiletries such as a toothbrush, shampoo, or even soap, and no fridge, kettle, or safe deposit box. The water heater didn’t work either. My first room smelled so strongly of sewer that I couldn’t stand it for even 30 seconds, so I went back to reception and changed rooms. The second floor room was so noisy it felt like sleeping in the street, with every street sound coming through. The window was partly open and wouldn’t shut properly, which is why the noise was extreme. The rate is cheap, but it doesn’t feel worth even that price.
It’s comfortable and in a really useful spot. There’s a hospital right in front, and a school, city hall, church, fast food places, grocery stores, banks, ATMs, and more nearby. You can also get a massage in the building, which has some clinics too. I kept my bike in the open space behind the building, and it was safe there.
The room was decent for an overnight stay at P880.00 a night. It had one queen bed and one single, a small nightstand, WiFi, and a few toiletries: a small sanitary bag, toothbrush and toothpaste, comb, cotton buds, and body wash and shampoo pumps in the toilet. The receptionist was polite. There’s no elevator or door mat, and there were several brief power cuts from surges. The floor was dusty, and the air conditioner took a couple of hours to cool the room. There’s no fridge for keeping things cold, no stool or chair, and the clothing hangers are so high they’re near the ceiling.
No elevator, and I was on the 4th floor. The receptionist and service were just as bad, with not even a greeting. The bed was nasty. It may be cheap, but I’m not coming back. I’d rather pay a little more than stay somewhere this horrible.
