The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but the meal I ordered came on top of a slab of uncooked noodles. The kitchen refused to take it back and said that was how it was supposed to be. Getting through the front entrance was awkward because cars were parked side by side, leaving you to squeeze in sideways. Outside, there’s good street food, but also lots of markets selling the same cheap rubbish, and the area felt polluted and dirty. I also had my first run-in with a very determined pickpocket. My room had a constant bad smell, possibly because there wasn’t enough fresh air.

We tried the buffalo wings and clubhouse sandwich, and the portions were very good. The room was new and very clean, and the price was affordable. The bellboy helped with my things when I arrived, and the front desk greeted me with a smile. When I checked out, the manager Mr. Derek asked how my stay had been. Everyone was really accommodating. We’ll be back for sure, kudos to the team!

The room was good, and it had a double double lock. The bathroom floor sink seems like it needs repair, though.

There’s a restaurant at this nice hotel, and you can book for 3 or 6 hours at an affordable rate. The cleanliness outside the establishment is noticeably lacking when you come and go. The city government should do its job.

For an affordable stay around Quiapo, this is the best budget-friendly hotel. The rooms are clean and neat, the staff are approachable, and the location is not bad at all.
