Executive Hotel

We checked out early, right at checkout time, because I couldn't rely on the hotel staff, especially the guard. I'm very angry about how the guard handled protocol. Instead of asking politely, they looked down on the Filipina guest like she was a nobody. Don't be biased. Filipino guests and visitors shouldn't be treated as less than foreign customers. This was a huge disappointment from the staff at an executive hotel.

The view was incredible, though the windows could have been clearer. The room's design was nice, and the rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated, but cleanliness fell short of what I'd hoped for. There was hair left behind by previous guests, the shower could have been cleaner, and the shower doors were hard to open because they weren't lubricated. Service was fine, nothing to complain about but nothing special. The food was rather expensive, so I'd recommend eating at one of the many nearby restaurants or cafes with a better atmosphere. I stayed for two nights.

The staff are very accommodating, and I really like the restaurant and café. Don't miss the bar. The price is reasonable, and when I fly back to the Philippines, I'll stay here again.

Update: I stayed again this March 2019, and the hotel seems to be making a real comeback. There are new owners and management. The rooms were better cared for, with additional furniture for comfort, and the towels were cleaner. The staff also seemed much more attentive to upkeep. Please keep it up and become the hotel you used to be again. On an earlier stay, it was a good, clean hotel but needed maintenance. The toilet wouldn't flush until I lifted the water closet top myself. I called maintenance, and they fixed it right after. It wasn't like it had been a couple of years earlier, and the value for money had gone down. Many towels were worn well past their useful life and needed replacing.
