This feels less like a typical hostel and more like a two-star hotel, and everything looks brand new. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is great. The rooms are quite satisfactory for the price, and it also operates as a B&B. WiFi is only okay, ranging from 2mbps to 6mbps in the rooms, but the bathrooms are clean and have hot showers. It's in the tourist area, and robinsons place manila is close enough to walk to in five minutes. The value and service keep me coming back.

The location is central, and the general condition is adequate. WiFi was poor and there wasn't much food to choose from. Don't count on a quiet night either. My ground-floor room felt connected to a local Karaoke bar, which carried on well into the night.

Malvar Hostel was a great find for me and my business associates. The staff were friendly and so helpful, accommodating a few small changes we needed when someone got sick. They also supported us as we traveled around the Manila, and were always chatty and polite. I've only got good things to say about the place.

The hotel rates are very reasonable, and there are lots of eateries and a wide range of clothing options at different shopping malls. It definitely makes you want to come back to Manila. Thank you.

A simple, elegant, and really comfortable hotel. I hope I can stay there again.
