Hotel Paradis

They advertise YouTube and Netflix, but there wasn’t even Wi-Fi. The room had no working AC and turned into an oven. The bed was leather with just a thin cotton sheet, too. We were also given 250 pesos less in change. I don’t know if that was intentional, but the price wasn’t worth the stay.

I wouldn’t book here. The premium room’s actual view didn’t live up to what I expected for the price, and after the AC failed, they moved me to another bad room where the hot water didn’t work. It was a waste of money, and they wouldn’t let me cancel or get a refund.

The service staff were slow, and Wi-Fi didn’t work anywhere on the third floor, as far as I could tell. I paid P680 for a six-hour deluxe room stay, then had to pay another P60 for two bottles of water, P30 each. Maybe the other branches are better. At Avenida, I’d choose somewhere else with free bottled water and Wi-Fi.

There was a lot of banging and thumping around the hotel. The staff were alright, but the room was below average and the bathroom was very bad, though I’ve seen worse, especially ones with open vents. The location is in the heart of Manila, but it’s a bad area. If you have no other options, it might do, although you still have options.
