La Casarita

A great apartment for students, close to Ubelt.

The location takes some planning because the easiest gate to use closes from 6PM until 6AM, so you need to ask about the alternate way in and out. The building itself is nice, and the security gets five stars from me. Our room was great, though room service could be better. They gave us soap, shampoo, towels, and access to a fridge at no charge. There were no mats by the entrance or outside the washroom, though, so when shoes got soaked in the rain or we came out of the washroom wet, we had to use toilet paper to dry things off. They’ll give you hot water for coffee or noodles for free, but you have to go downstairs and ask reception. I wish there were a water heater in the room too, without an extra charge.

The WiFi was a little weak, and I would have liked a bigger desk for studying or working. Still, the room, bathroom, and shared spaces were clean, and the AC worked well without being too loud. I booked studio unit 505 through Agoda for a short rest and some work. The guard was helpful with parking and checking my booking. I’d stay here again when I’m nearby.

There’s a penalty if you lose the key or leave it locked inside the room, and it happens for the third time.
