I stayed in a four-person dorm room on the third floor. The air conditioning worked well and could be adjusted manually, and the heater was a plus since it was cold even though it was already January. Free coffee and drinking water are available on the second floor. The hostel has free WiFi, though the connection wasn't consistently strong. The location is great, close to everything, including Robinsons mall and banks, and within walking distance of UN Ave, where most of my activities were.

I wish I could get my money back. I paid 2,572.42 pesos by credit card when I booked Hostel Sarah for Feb 20, 2022, but the policy says I can't get a refund. When I went to 507 Sta Monica Street, Ermita, Manila, I found the hostel was no longer there. New businesses at that address told me many people had come looking for Hostel Sarah too. It seems unfair. I trusted Booking.com and thought the hotels listed there weren't fraudulent. Please investigate Hostel Sarah and remove it from the list of places to stay.

We slept really well on both stays, at the start and end of our Philippines trip. The place was clean, with a coffee room that had a TV and WiFi, and it's centrally located, just 50m from a huge shopping mall with a supermarket. The staff always went the extra mile, whether by getting our room ready before check-in, storing our luggage, or helping arrange a 3am taxi to the airport.

I love this place. The staff were warm, smiling, and so accommodating, mga bisaya pa gyud! They even offered free coffee and WiFi in the coffee lounge. The rooms, linens, and towels were clean, and you could really feel the quality service the owner wanted to provide at a low price. Salamat hostel sarah! I highly recommend it to my backpacker friends. Mubalik gyud ko diha soon!

It was a simple, really clean stay, and the location made getting around easy. The US Embassy, Robimsons Mall, and plenty of other attractions are all within walking distance.
