Silver Oaks Hotel and Suite

The rooms are comfortable and nice, but the equipment is very old, the shower was dirty and moldy, and the electrical hazard is concerning. It feels close to places like Rizal park, intramous, and shops. At night, though, there are many shady people around, and homeless people sleep along the hotel street. I didn’t feel safe walking there after dark. Fine for a single night of sleep, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

For the price, the room was okay, though there’s nothing fancy or high-end about it. The bathroom needs a makeover, and the air conditioner needs cleaning. It was full of black mold.

The location is excellent, with everything close enough to reach on foot. Rooms are clean, although the showers have low water pressure.

We paid 60k for 15 days here during quarantine, and it was absolutely not worth it. The ceiling leaked rainwater, there was dirt under the bed, and the bathroom was full of mold. The aircon smelled of cigarettes, one power outlet didn’t work, and the complimentary bottled water had already been opened. The pillowcases hadn’t been changed when we arrived, and the rooms aren’t sealed, so you can hear other people clearly. Stay away!
