We picked this hotel for its location near Robinson's mall, with a 7/11 right across from it. We stayed 7 days while I had my Medical at St. Luke's and an interview at US Embassy, both within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I loved the breakfast. The only downside was the cigarette smell in the hallway whenever we left our room. One house keeping staff member carrying a radio smelled strongly of cigarettes. Aside from that, I can recommend the hotel.

The best thing about this place was that it was the closest option to Robinson's I could find, since our usual hotel was fully booked. I got a really low online rate, so maybe I got what I paid for. None of my requests were honored. Even though we checked in very late, they didn't seem to have a room reserved and we had to wait while they searched for one. I'd asked for twin beds and a quiet, non-smoking room, but got a smoking room that was noisy. We could clearly hear people talking next door, everything else around us, and the street noise.

The baywalk nearby is beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy, and there was hot water in the shower, which I understand is a plus. Breakfast could have been better. We found some bugs in the room, and at night we had to make a pillow wall so the air conditioning wouldn't blow on us.

The staff were a bright spot, especially the friendly waiter and guards who were accommodating. The room was clean, but it looked old, and the place felt dated compared with the online photos. There was an electric kettle but no water provided, and the shower had dirt buildup and seemed poorly maintained. It was just an okay experience.
