Malunggay Apartments

The owner kindly explained the regular room details in advance, so we knew what to expect. There was a mix-up about check-in time, but they still welcomed us. We really appreciated that, thank you for letting us stay 😊

The new room I got was really nice and felt homey, without overdone decorations. The humidifier has a very auntie feel, and the essential oils were so relaxing. It also came with a Smart TV. The bathroom was clean, and the small kitchen inside had the basic things. My stay was good, just like my other visits with them. Keep up the good work, Team Malunggay! 🥰

The surroundings were quiet, and the kitchenette was nice. Just know these are Filipino-style accommodations. Our toilet had no seat or flush mechanism, so we had to pour water into it from a bucket or pail. There was no toilet paper, no Wi-Fi in the room, and the mattress was thin. We booked through Agoda for $20.00 a night, then learned on arrival that booking directly costs half as much.

We enjoyed room 103, and the service was very good. The linen and towel smelled really nice. The staff were honest too: I left my purse behind, and they sent it to my address in Manila. We'll surely return to Malungay Apartment. Thank you very much!
