Travelbee Minglanilla Inn

I stayed here two years ago, and it was nicer then. The rooms are okay now, but some have NO WINDOW. Ask when you book, because those rooms feel like a jail cell.

The room was roomy, bigger than what I've had at similar hotels in this category, and the bathroom has a hot shower. It's also handy being beside a supermarket and a bus terminal with rides to the city.

The service was superb, and the wifi worked well enough that I didn't miss work. There's a huge free parking area, food stalls nearby, and Robinsons grocery right by the lobby entrance. Breakfast is free and tasted good enough. Our room was clean everywhere, with bright lighting, white paint, and clean tiles. The air conditioning was well maintained and the room got very cold even at temp 26. There were lots of outlets, including convenient ones by the bed. The comfort room was spotless too, with a bidet, working hot shower, free shower gel, and clean towels and linens.

Nearby stores, restaurants, an amusement park, and transportation made getting around easy. The hotel is affordable and clean, and the rooms are well kept. It's one of the cheapest hotels I've seen with such high maintenance standards. We had a great stay at Travelbee Mingla Hotel in Talisay. The welcome from the friendly staff made us feel at home, and the atmosphere was warm. Our room was spotless and looked after well, with care from the receptionist through to the room. Great value for money. I'd recommend it if you're after a comfortable, affordable place.
