Everything was within walking distance, and the location was really good. We booked a few weeks ahead through Booking or Agoda and found this to be the cheapest option. It was budget-friendly and cozy, with a clean bathroom, lovely people and a garden that felt peaceful away from the Moalboal bustle. We had a fan room instead of air conditioning, and it was more than enough. A great choice for backpackers, I’d recommend it!

The balcony is spacious, and the room itself is generously sized. These are rustic wooden huts in a pretty garden, though nearby hotels and bars make it less peaceful than it might be. The room has no fridge or kettle, and there’s no shared kitchen or fridge either. You can get hot and cold water in the lobby. WiFi was weak and the internet unreliable, which could be a hassle. Staff seemed distant at first, but warmed up and tried to help. Housekeeping comes every third day.

The rooms are comfortable and the place is quiet and clean, though they won’t be cleaned daily unless you ask. The garden description is a bit misleading: there are pipes covered in netting in the middle. Chickens may wake you early, so bring earplugs. It’d be nice to have bottled water in the rooms. The desk staff generally weren’t helpful with questions. Breakfast isn’t included, but there’s a good place across the street.
