The quiet setting was a real treat, with chickens and birds around in the morning, and parking was easy. Balai Vittorio is about 15-20 minutes from the city center, so we could enjoy the calm and still get into town without much trouble. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, and Ma'am Viv was helpful with local suggestions and anything we needed without hovering. Breakfast was a daily highlight, especially the Ilonggo slow-cooked food. I still think about the homemade Pancit Molo & Puto. We also tried the private dining option, which worked beautifully for an intimate gathering. The Traditional Iloilo Dining Menu has heirloom recipes, and the food made the occasion feel special. Ask about the homemade food jars and marmalades to take home as pasalubong. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

The private dinner was such a treat. Ms. Viv's personalized table setting looked lovely, and the slow-cooked food was made with care, even if the dishes seemed simple. We’d tell future guests to try it. Balai Vittorio is a quaint, cozy place close to Iloilo City. Ms. Vivian was gracious when our group of five arrived, even though the room is meant for four and she let us know it would be a tight fit. She made sure we were all comfortable and had what we needed. It’s a humble little hidden gem, and honestly, part of me wants to keep it to ourselves.

The private dining setup is worth a try, especially the shrimp pesto pizza and pasta putanesca. We also took home the wood fire cooked adobo flakes and tablea de mani for pasalubong. The meal came with fresh oysters as big as my palm, plus pizza and pasta arranged in a lovely tablescape. It’s a quaint bed and breakfast with comfortable, clean rooms, good appointments, and the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The Filipino breakfast spread was so good it made me want more. You can book the private dining for an intimate gathering too.

Breakfast for two is included, and the host serves perfect Ilonggo dishes. The place is tidy and nicely designed, and she has lots of stories to share. Highly recommended!
