Lotus Blu Hotel Naga

Clean rooms and a comfortable, tidy atmosphere made this a pleasant, hassle-free stay. The place was well maintained, and it seemed clear that effort goes into keeping it in good shape. Staff were approachable and the service was decent. It isn’t luxurious, but it’s a dependable option for a simple stay.

I was surprised to find a hotel of this standard in Naga City. It felt like a comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day. The bed was soft and warm, and the cool air conditioning made for good sleep. The room had a well-planned study spot with a lamp and outlet, which made it feel suited to business travelers. It also came with a long list of amenities: coffee and tea with an electric pot, mini fridge, safe, bathrobe, slippers, toiletries, dental and sewing kits, comb, lotion, full-length and makeup mirrors, clothes cabinet with hangers, luggage stand, cable TV, and telephone. Breakfast gets criticized by some hotel reviewers, but I liked the plated meal included in the room rate. There were Filipino and American choices, generous servings, and the food was tasty and made to order. I’m very satisfied with the service, and hope they maintain the lovely lobby, corridors, elevators, and room interiors.

The restaurant food was good, the internet connection was great, and guests can use the gym for free. The lobby staff were very accommodating. I stayed overnight, and it’s close to the CBD. The rooms are clean and have complete amenities, including a flat iron and hair dryer. I wish guests could park overnight in the basement, so their motorcycles and cars wouldn’t get rained on.

We’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, and this one was unusually good and affordable at the same time. The bathroom, bed, room, and amenities were all perfect. My only small complaint was that the shower temperature fluctuated. Thanks to the staff and management!
