Nagaland Hotel

Clean room, comfy bed, and a great CR.

The location in the heart of Naga made it easy to reach nearby establishments, though street noise might bother some people. The room was spacious and decent, and the internet was fast. The bathroom was great, but there was no bidet. Friendly staff made check-in easy, and they were happy to help when we extended our stay. For a 3-star hotel, I'd definitely consider staying here again, with just a few minor things to improve.

Booking by phone was quick, and they were flexible about our requests. We chose a Family room for around P2,200 per night, with a queen bed, a double bed, refrigerator, TV, and roomy toilet and bath. It was clean, and the bathroom looked newly remodeled. Hot water was available at the tap and shower, and the bidet had an easy switch. Staff were patient and helpful, even with all our calls to concierge and housekeeping for little things. A small mall nearby made it easy to get groceries, and Graceland and McDonald's were close too. It's a good value for a 3 Star Hotel, so I'd book here again.

The location is handy, across from a mall and grocery, with plenty of food nearby. There's ample parking, a smoking area out back, and a cafe downstairs. The rooms are just so-so. There's no elevator, and the WiFi access point only works with mobile devices, not laptops. We had at least three daytime power outages, which reset the internet voucher and meant getting another one. The split-type aircon cools somewhat, but iced up, got noisy around 3am, and dripped water, so don't leave luggage underneath. The toilet has no bidet. Watch the cafe prices, too: coffee downstairs at breakfast was P20, but ordering later or upstairs cost P30. It's okay if you're not too picky.
