Summit Hotel Naga

Great beds and food, with very good service. Everything was pretty affordable too.

There was a pen mark on the supposedly fresh sheet when we arrived, so I had to ask for it to be changed. Apart from that, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the hotel is good enough for a stay of a few days. It’s right next to the mall, so food is easy to find even if you don’t know the area. The lobby has plenty of seats while you wait, and the staff were helpful. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, but we didn’t wait long. After checkout, I asked to leave my bags while I shopped before heading back to Manila, and they were very accommodating. Whether the location suits you depends on if you want to stay in the city center or farther out. There are plenty of trikes either way, though traffic around here can get really bad at rush hour.

The hotel connects to Robinsons Mall in Naga, just across the street, so you can pick up whatever you need with a minute’s walk. The rooms feel secure and may have a lovely view of the landscape and city, depending on their location. They keep rooms clean and regularly check if you need anything. The employees greet you with smiles and a good morning, afternoon, or evening. The food is great, and the buffet is amazing value. I’ll come back whenever we return to the Philippines, which we once called home. Thank you, Summit team, for the unbelievable hospitality you gave us.

Easy to find since it’s near Robinsons Place Naga. Our overnight stay cost 3600, and the rooms were great for that price. Booking was quick and easy, and they acted fast when I realized I’d left some belongings behind. A good place to stay.
