I had booked two rooms for six nights starting 6/18/23. A volcano erupted there, leaving the city in ashes, and a travel advisory was issued. The hotel refused to refund my 887.52 USD or let me move the dates to a safer time. Stay away and choose a hotel with better customer service.
I liked the mountain view, and the room was what we expected. The staff were welcoming and greeted us with smiles. Only small issue was the yellowish water coming from the pipe.
Most of the units were clean and nice, with a complete set of house accessories. A few rooms did have a strong, unpleasant smell, though.
Pico is still one of my favorite places to visit down south.
I feel lucky to have been here. Such a heavenly spot, and a vacation destination everyone should experience once in their life.
