Casablanca Hotel Condominium

The restaurant had a lovely glimpse of the wharf, and its food was tasty and reasonably priced, though service took a while. Our one-bedroom villa was spacious, the bedding was fresh, and the staff were very friendly, as other reviews have said. The place has 21 villas, and ours had a strong 80s feel despite the recent renovation. There were popcorn ceilings, solid wooden kitchen cupboards rather than modern modular fiberboard, floral bathroom tiles, and orange square floor tiles. It reminded us of when the Americans still occupied Subic. WiFi was very strong, but the toilet in our first room drained slowly and the A/C was noisy, so we moved to another room. We still loved every bit of the place and our whole stay.

The service was great, but the rooms were a bit disappointing because there were bed bugs. The pool area was really humid, with little to no air coming through.

The hotel staff were very kind and welcoming, and we enjoyed our stay. The place itself is okay, but some dishes on the menu weren't available. Hotel policy also meant we couldn't order outside food because of the corkage rule. It'd be better if guests could bring or order food from elsewhere when the listed options aren't available.

The place has a nice balcony and a full kitchen, and our Agoda booking came with a delicious complimentary breakfast. Chef J is a very good cook. There’s also hot water in the shower, and the inside and outside are beautifully designed. The living room sofa bed gives a one-bedroom unit space for another sleeping area. It must have been a condo for wealthy people back in the day. We had lots of room, and it was quiet during our weekday stay. With a baby, though, carrying a stroller up and down the stairs wasn't great. Parking is limited to three spots by the door, so you have to look elsewhere around the building. There was no sign pointing out the entrance when we first arrived. You can drive to a private or public beach within 3km. The marina is next door, so you can walk to the water, but there’s no beach there. There’s plenty of unused space that could have gone toward a fitness room.
