Mangrove Resort Hotel

I've stayed here a few times and enjoyed every visit. The views are amazing and take your breath away while you sip your early morning coffee, a lovely way to start the day. The rooms are spacious, clean, and fresh.

The room itself was nice and had a good shower, though on one day there was no water pressure or hot water. I was also charged 2000p for blood stains on the sheet caused by my girl. Still, the stay was disappointing for what I paid, especially after going in with high expectations. Room 2002 is above reception, and I could hear staff talking loudly every morning, with their walkie-talkie volume turned up. They didn't seem to care that guests were sleeping. The room was opposite the stairs, so people going up and down were noisy too. It's not soundproof, and neighbors, maybe in the next building, banged on the wall every day without staff doing anything to stop it.

We had a great stay, though construction woke us at 0700am after the first night. That was too early for us. It stopped after 5 mins, but by then we were awake. When we mentioned it, the staff apologized right away.

The beach wasn't great when we arrived because the water was still dirty from the typhoon that had just ended, with some debris still floating around. We had to wait for the staff to clean the water. The sandy area is small too, so there's very little space for a morning walk.
