Sleep and Stay Hotel

The location was the only thing I liked. There was always a mosquito, and the TV signal was weak. Dust had collected in some corners and around the headboards. The shower curtain was covered in mold, the bed covers had old stains, and the duvet cover was torn. Extra pillows were 30php each and extra towels cost 50php each. Neither the night security guard nor the front desk staff were approachable.

For under P1k per room on Agoda, the price is hard to beat, especially with a small public beach just across the road at the end of an alley. There are only two parking spaces at the hotel. It's a 25-room place and suits people on a budget. The towels and bedding are worn, though I didn't see any cockroaches in my room. During a blackout, their powerful genset can run the air-conditioning in every room.

We just walked in and booked, so there was no need to reserve online. For 800php we got 12h, which was a great deal. They only had a double room with two single beds, no queen bed.

Barreto beach is close by, so staying here is convenient if you don't want to spend much time figuring out accommodation. The bed was comfortable, and the shower and bidet had very strong water pressure. It's not the best hotel, and with the cheap rates you shouldn't expect much, but I have great memories here. What we didn't like was that after we extended our stay through noon the night before April 6, the housekeeper kept waking us even though we had a "Do not disturb" sign on the door.
