The staff were welcoming and service was quick. Food was okay, and my wife found a meal she really liked. The prices were reasonable, though no room type includes a free buffet. We rented a deluxe room that was comfortable and clean, but the TV reception was poor. It's 2019, how are hotel TVs still this bad? A decent TV helps if you've got hyper kids you want to distract for a while. The atmosphere is good for families with children running around, though the pool isn't child-friendly. The least they could do is have a 3-foot pool. For internet, use a laptop, since mobile phone reception is bad in the room.

The room was clean and comfortable, the rates were good for the quality, and the restaurant food and room service meals were great. The staff were helpful, and the pool was nice, with a bar open until 11 pm. I can't wait to stay again. I'm from the USA, and this was my first trip abroad. Ormoc Villa was an important part of a great trip to the Philippines.

I like the place so far. It's cool, clean, peaceful, and classy, but watch out for bed bugs in some of the extra beds they provide. The suite has a bathtub, though it wasn't clean enough for me to feel comfortable taking a relaxing bath, and there was a mosquito in the room and on the tub. The room card autolocks at noon, and you have to go downstairs to ask them to reset it so you can open your electronic door. That's a hassle if you've booked two nights.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel has an older tropical style, with a pool and a nice garden. The bathroom let it down. It was dark and musty, and the shower felt poorly designed. The rainfall head stopped working when the water pressure was low, and the drain couldn't keep up, so I stood in a pool of water while showering. I was there for a few days and called reception to have the pressure and drain fixed, but the problems remained. This older hotel badly needs renovation.

We stayed with family in adjoining deluxe rooms and enjoyed it. The rooms were large with two queen beds, and clean. The shower was hot and welcome, and the air conditioning worked well with a thermostat, so we didn't freeze. There was a nice garden and atmosphere. Room service meals were inexpensive, plentiful, and very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.
