A good budget place, with accommodating local staff. The rooms have air conditioning and cable TV, the CR was clean, and the water supply was sufficient. There’s also guest parking set aside by the owner. It’s right beside the market, with 7/11, the bus stop, eateries and restaurants all within walking distance.
I joined the whale shark program today, and while I was snorkeling the bike driver took US dollars from my wallet. Be careful about sharing your route, like saying you’re moving on to Panglao Island. By the time I checked, I had already been taken to the Island. I don’t want this happening to anyone else.
For a budget stay, the big room and beds are decent, and there’s cable TV. The air conditioner wasn’t very cold, but there’s a ceiling fan. Staff were very accommodating, and the location is convenient, near the public market and a 7 eleven, with plenty of restaurants, especially at night. Whale Shark Watching is about 15 kilometers away. There was a white substance in the water that evaporated. There were no glasses or refrigerator in the room, and I wouldn’t recommend using the cheap towels. It’s okay if you’re on a budget.
Nice place for a couple of nights, and the breakfast was okay.
