We didn't stay overnight, but they took us to the resort and got us quick, direct access to the whale shark watching boats. The service was friendly, prompt, and felt safe. Thanks to Mary and Oyong for making sure we got where we needed to go.

The staff are very accommodating, and the whale watching site is close enough to walk to, or even swim to 🤣. Highly recommended if you're planning a stay in Oslob.

Scam, scam, scam! After I got off the bus, they drew me in by saying this was the whale shark spot. They charged an extra fee for exactly the same service that's free at the original location 100 meters down the road. When I confronted them, they didn't even offer a refund. It wasn't a huge amount, but the ethics and attitude here are off. I hope this helps anyone planning to see the whale sharks. Have an awesome trip.

We weren't staying at the resort, but came for dinner. We weren't sure at first whether the food would be any good, but the view over the water and island convinced us to stay. I'm glad we did. We ordered one meal each, priced from 100 - 150 peso, and the servings were huge and delicious. I couldn't finish mine. The beer was really cheap too. We had a lovely time, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone staying nearby. Salamat! Thank you very much!

Rooms are basic but inexpensive, and English is spoken. The bathroom is Philippines style. Bar music can get loud and carry on late. There’s a small pool, and the sunrise view is great. The public beach whale shark viewing area is a 5 minutes walk away. A half-hour boat ride with snorkel costs $1000 php, and many whales were seen.
