The cliffside setting at Stay N Save is beautiful, but that view couldn't make up for how disappointing the stay was. The place has potential, yet the management, basic amenities, and meal service all let us down. We had a booking confirmation through the property’s social media, but at check-in we were told our chosen room had already been given away. They moved us to a different double room. The front desk staff came across as cold and uninterested in helping us. The air conditioner in that room never cooled it, even after running for hours. Staff had assured us it worked, but management only offered a regular fan, which barely helped with the heat. The AC seemed to be there for looks more than use. Breakfast was another problem. We were told the kitchen staff didn’t know how to make the dishes on their own menu, so we had to look for food elsewhere. On top of that, Stay N Save charges corkage for outside food, which felt especially unfair given the restaurant couldn’t provide a basic meal. Until the service and maintenance improve, it’s a lovely-looking place that makes for a very unsatisfying stay.

We left after trying to get a refund just an hour after check-in, but barely got anything back. The room they gave us was so shabby I wouldn't want a dog to sleep in it, and the place was full of mosquitoes. They also charged extra to use their so-called beach. The staff were unfriendly and no help at all. I definitely don't recommend staying here.

We got a cheap weekday booking at Stay N Save in Oslob through Agoda, and it was almost empty, so the stay felt quiet and private. The sunrise over the clear sea was gorgeous, and the food at the little restaurant out front was decent, though a bit pricey. Getting down to the water takes some effort: the stairs are steep. Once there, the sea is incredibly clear, but the shore is rocky rather than white sand. There are small huts and chairs by the water where you can sit and enjoy the view. The main drawback for us was the shared bathroom. Everyone staying there uses the same one, which wasn’t very convenient or private. Still, we had a wonderful time for what we paid. It’s a good budget option if you’re okay with a few compromises for the seaside setting.

Such a beautiful, quiet spot. The bathroom could use a little more cleaning, and there isn't really beach access.

For £6 we got a large tent with a proper double bed and plenty of room for our stuff. It also had a fan and a little lamp. We took a chance on staying here and ended up being the only guests, so that worked out well. There are sea views and private beach access down 270 steps. Breakfast was available to buy, tasty and cheap, and eating it on the terrace overlooking the sea made it even better.
