The staff made us feel at home, always ready to help and treating us with real kindness. The whole place was clean and quiet, just right for getting away from city life, and the hospitality made the visit memorable. We’d happily come back. One thing to watch for: the way back is rather dark at night, and the area is a bit overgrown, so take extra care.

There weren’t many people around during our day at Borawan Island Resort, and the white-sand beach was very clean. We also had a great meal. The pork steak and chicken tinola were both delicious.

I only stopped by to check the place out after seeing it on social media. There’s a nice, relaxing setting, white sand, and plenty of parking, though the spaces are under coconut trees. Camping by the beach with your car is possible, but spots are limited and go to whoever gets there first. Staff took a while to give us the information we needed. The water looked murky despite the white sand, and there’s no jellyfish safety net. Getting to Station 1 costs extra because you need to take a boat. The beach itself seemed fairly clean, but there was a lot of trash dumped behind it. Bathrooms are shared and there aren’t enough of them. I didn’t see inside the rooms, so I can’t comment on them, though they cost more than the place next door. If clear water is what you want, this isn’t the spot. The trip takes a while and costs quite a bit.

The sunrise and the dogs ended up being the best part of my first camping trip. The dogs were sweet, playing in the sand and tagging along wherever we went. I’m a big dog lover, so that really made the trip for me. If you visit, bring them some dog food if you can. We didn’t swim, just dipped our feet in. The water was seaweedy, and I’d read online that jellyfish might be around, but we’d come mainly for sunrise anyway. We set off from General Trias Cavite at 1:40pm and arrived at 7:00pm. We followed Google Maps, which sent us on a longer route, and the last 8 kilometers were full of potholes and had no lights. Driving that stretch at night felt scary. We brought our own tent but still paid 200 for the place to set it up, plus 220 each, 640 total for two people and the tent spot. The shop is 2 KM from the beach, and some shops close at night, so bring what you’ll need. It wasn’t mosquito-heavy or very cold, just comfortable. We didn’t have time to buy food for a proper meal since the trip took more than 5-6 hours and we left pretty late. We couldn’t cook a meal, but made rice and coffee. I’d recommend the camping beach, though it’s kind of costly. My first time camping was a blast, and I’m looking forward to another trip.

The friendly dogs and the view were the nicest parts, and the campsite had a good atmosphere for spending the night with friends. We came from Cavite to try camping here. We stayed overnight and thought it was overpriced, but accepted that for the experience. The rooms feel expensive too: a room for two with only a fan costs 2,000. The restroom is a bit of a walk. While we were asleep, someone took our camping chair. We searched around in case it had just been borrowed, but never found one like ours. I thought the place was safe, but apparently I was wrong. Never again. It should be called a campsite rather than a resort, and it needs a lot of improvement.
