Leanne and David were such kind, friendly, fun hosts. They checked every day that we had what we needed and then some, and we felt right at home. The staff were lovely too. We also enjoyed the restaurant and finally got to try several Filipino specialties. Leanne is a really good cook! Our room was clean and spacious, with a hot shower. This was easily the best place we stayed in the Philippines. We’re already planning to return on our next trip, and I highly recommend it.

We kept coming back to Bugang Riverside Inn for breakfast, lunch, and dinner during most of our time in Pandan because the food was amazing. My boyfriend and I had been staying nearby at a place with a great view but not much else, and we happened to come across the inn. David and his wife welcomed us so warmly that we were won over right away. We’d highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed spending the evenings talking with David, Leanne, and Jason over food and drinks. Some of the best food we had on Panay was here, and David’s jungle hike was a great experience. He also suggested the nearby Malumpati cold springs, which were a lovely way to cool down for a few hours. When it was time to leave, David and another staff member kindly drove us to the bus terminal. It felt like a private resort tucked into the countryside, with no other tourists around. The hosts were excellent and the service was exceptional. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

The people here were incredibly kind, and they cooked us all sorts of wonderful food. Our room was large and the beds were very comfortable. We had an amazing stay and would recommend this place to anyone.

The setting is very nice and rustic, but the food wasn’t good. The fries were half-cooked, for example. I also got the impression the place was being used for short-term hooker and john encounters.
