The place is very basic but cheap, so you get what you pay for. It's on the more residential side of Momo Beach, so don't expect a clean beach with the lovely sloping shoreline you find by Bohol Beach Club. Still, the snorkeling is amazing: you don't need to go far out to see a great variety of fish, and they rent masks and fins. Alex, the Russian who runs the place, is a gracious host and a great cook. I hope the facilities improve, though, and that the woman making breakfast learns to cook better scrambled eggs. I'd suggest spending maybe a day and a half here snorkeling before heading to other parts of the island, like Alona and Bohol Beach Club/Dumaluan.

For real backpacking and privacy, this is a great spot on Panglao Island. It's quiet, with a private beach away from crowded places like Aluna Beach. The rooms are modest and clean, and the rent is extra cheap. The Russian guy who runs the hotel is lovely and helpful. We were completely comfortable and satisfied, and found it the finest place to chill on Panglao Island.
