We loved staying somewhere peaceful, away from the noise around Alona Beach. The place has tasteful, distinctive decor and lovely landscaping with flowers and palms. The food was great, with a healthy touch, and mostly organic ingredients from small-scale Bohol farmers. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I'd highly recommend it. The bumpy road really isn't that bad if you drive slowly.

The grounds are beautiful, just like the photos, but we didn't enjoy the stay. It was really far, and it was hard to get Grab to pin the location. The shower was terrible, going hot for a few seconds and then cold for a few seconds, though they let us use a shower in another vacant room. Breakfast was unappealing, with lots of tiny ants on the fruit and pastries set out for self-service. I hesitate to leave a negative review, but as a customer I'd want to know.

It had a very homey feel, and the complimentary specialty ensaymada they welcomed us with was a nice surprise. The front desk staff were helpful and can arrange tours or car rental.

The free breakfast was something we really enjoyed, and the restaurant was good too. The pool was super clean, and the staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful. The place is absolutely beautiful, worth visiting for that alone. It was the best hotel experience of our three-week trip in the Philippines. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was amazing every day, and my kid and I couldn't get enough of the ensaymadas. The staff were always attentive, helpful, and very polite, and the service was impeccable. They could arrange tours, transport, and even laundry. We had a wonderful stay and I've already recommended it to friends and family.
