Ate was very helpful and accommodating. The room was a little old, though the place was generally clean. The pool wasn't clean, so we couldn't use it during our stay.

The beach access was blocked by new construction, with loud hammering and banging all day and night. Rooms weren't cleaned unless we asked, and the pool was too small. There was no water pressure, so we had to fill a bucket and use a tabo to shower. One day the power went out, which also meant no Wi-Fi or water. The air conditioner did blow cold air.

The owner and staff were very nice, but I felt this place was mainly for Koreans. If you're not Korean, keep out. The breakfast was useless, the shower was almost a joke, and the air conditioning was extremely loud. It's quite remote, and the beach was lousy. You can walk there, but you wouldn't want to sunbathe there. I didn't stay through the end of my reservation. With four days left, I booked another hotel.

At night it’s genuinely quiet and peaceful, especially if you’re trying to stay away from the touristier Alona side of Panglao. It’s an affordable, laid-back place with a restaurant and a diving pool for people who are into underwater activities.

The receptionist was so approachable and accommodating whenever we needed something. I also thought the family room I stayed in was good value for the price.
