The room was very clean, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. It’s a single room at a price that’s hard to fault for this location. You need to walk along a bumpy road for about 5-6 minutes to reach the main road, but by the second day I was used to it. That walk also means it’s really quiet, which was great for resting. Some rooms don’t have hot water, but a cold shower is good for your health, my man. It worked well for a diver’s routine: diving in the morning, sleeping in the afternoon, going out for dinner, then back to sleep. A great holiday experience.

The rooms are basic but fine, with strong AC, and the staff are friendly. You can rent a scooter through the guesthouse. It’s just off the main road, and walking back at night in the dark felt okay, though some stretches aren’t lit. I’d use a phone torch since the path can be muddy and have big puddles after rain. The usual cockerel and dog noises are around. I’d recommend staying here.

I came looking for somewhere to sleep and ended up feeling like I’d found family. Michael and Cheryl were lovely and so kind. Even though the hotel was fully booked, they made space for us and treated us like kings. We’re already looking forward to coming back, and we’re going to miss you!

I wanted a private room for New Year’s Eve after spending the previous month or so in hostels, and this place was fantastic. The bed was big and comfortable, the AC was cold, and there was a private bathroom, all for just a little more money. The side road down there is in very poor condition, but it didn’t bother me.

The owner’s family were incredibly helpful and made us feel at home. The rooms were clean and extremely affordable, and I’d definitely recommend staying here in Panglao. It’s about a 700 metre walk to the main Panglao market.
