Only Seed Resort

Seed Resort has such a cozy, peaceful feel, just right for a laid-back stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and arranged with relaxation in mind. Staff were warm and attentive, and I really enjoyed being there.

We had a great four-night stay. The staff were nice, and with a rented scooter it was a great base for getting around. The air con was a bit weak, but everything else was really good. I do find it problematic that a free drink apparently depends on leaving a very positive review. I left an honest rating that wasn't perfect and was denied the drink. Feedback should be genuine, not shaped by incentives.

The pool was super nice, and the place could be quite luxurious, but some simple, cheap fixes would make a difference. There weren't enough loungers or cushions, and the pool area could look much nicer. The communal space is set up like a cafe, but the food menu didn't appeal to me, so I hardly used it. There is a very nice cat on site, though, which I loved. My room was okay, and very cheap, but tucked at the back with two bunk beds. One blocked the window, so it felt dark and cave-like. The bathroom was fine, and the shower was surprisingly good. The bedroom needed more storage, and the lockers had no hanging rails. The nearby beaches aren't great, so you'll need a tuk tuk to get to a good one.

I got a super deal on Agoda, so that's why I gave it 5 stars. I wouldn't stay for the full price. The place looks old, but the room was huge, with a big cozy bed, and that spaciousness and comfort count for a lot. The toilet was small but manageable, and the pool was good. There are also rooms around the pool, though I'm not sure what they're like. The staff were helpful, especially the people who handled the bags. One receptionist wasn't very welcoming when I tried to book directly. Breakfast is available for a fee.
